Arkansas SoyEnergy Group is located four miles south of DeWitt, Arkansas, on Highway 165. Our plant is controlled by a state of the art computer system, which results in a fully-automated production system. Plant capacity during the crushing phase is about 4 million bushels per year, with an oil output of nearly 4.5 million gallons. Our reaction facility has the capacity to produce 10 million gallons per year of biodiesel (B100). We have 350,000 bushels of on-site feedstock storage and 90,000 bushels of soybean meal storage. Our bulk fuel storage facility has state of the art pumping systems and has a storage capacity of 150,000 gallons.
Quality Assurance Arkansas SoyEnergy Group has an onsite testing lab to ensure that only the highest quality products are sold. We have adopted the BQ9000 testing procedures in addition to the in-line NIR Spectroscopy testing system which is a quality assurance process using infrared technology. Arkansas SoyEnergy Group also will verify our results with outside certified testing laboratories. In addition to meeting our own high standards, biodiesel produced by Arkansas SoyEnergy Group meets the new quality specifications set forth by the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM). BQ-9000 testing helps companies improve their fuel testing and greatly reduce any chance of producing inadequate fuel. To receive accreditation, companies must pass a rigorous review and inspection of their quality control processes by an independent auditor. This ensures that quality control is fully implemented. |
